  This week's "Start to Finish" charcoal portrait piece is Siege the horse who sadly passed away earlier this year. He was much-loved by his owners Tahnee and Mike and the portrait was done as a way of commemorating him. I drew Siege on A3 and he took close to 20 hours because of all the detail in his face!

   This week’s “Start to Finish” piece is Rameses, the extremely good looking Egyptian Mau. He was a pleasure to draw, not least because he was my first cat portrait! He is a much treasured pet to Pat and Steve and is the grand old age of 12 years. Unfortunately he has been starting to struggle with some health issues lately but hopefully his new charcoal portrait will perk him up!
