Charcoal Portrait of Buzz and Dory the Black Labradors - From Start to Finish
This lovely portrait of Buzz and Dory was commissioned by Claire from Jets Doggy Day Care for one of her favourite customers and close friends.
I did the portrait as a medium sized portrait sketch using two separate images of Buzz and Dory and it took me around eight hours to complete.
I was really pleased with the finished piece - black dogs can sometimes be quite hard to capture in charcoal but I love how this turned out! Claire and her husband Nigel were delighted with the finished article and so were the recipients of the drawing.
